Details
The grey crowned crane is Uganda's national bird. Most cranes stay in the marsh, but grey crowned cranes do not. It holds onto trees by their long hallux. The males dance to attract the females' attention. Though it is still quite easy to find grey crowned cranes, the natural habitats are depleting due to many human and environmental reasons.
