The Shoushan Zoo is a place perfect for family activities. You get to see amazing animals and find out how they live their lives. It is advised against feeding animals while you are in the zoo, and please follow the rules of the zoo to keep you and animals safe.

Opening Times
09:00~17:00 Tuesday thru Sunday; no admission after 16:30.
Closed Days
Closed on Mondays and Lunar New Year’s eve. The zoo is open as usual if Monday coincides with a national holiday.

Adult： NTD $ 40
General adults that meet no discount condition.
Half Price： NTD $ 20
Age 6-17.

- Children less than 6 years old. / Elementary school children in Kaohsiung City.
- Seniors 65 years and older.

- Those whose household is registered in Gushan District Dengshan Village、Xingzong Village 、Guanghua Village、Shanxia Village、Guyan Village、Luchuan Village、Baushu Village、Fengnan Village、Shude Village、Hebian Village、Shoushan Village、Hui‘an Village and Xinmin Village, Kaohsiung City. proof documents required.
- Tour guides with license issued by the Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C.Republic of China.
- Volunteers with Volunteer Services Card.
- Those who meet any free admission condition require no reservation; just have your ID ready at one of the manual gates for your admission.
- If the accompanying persons are over 65 years old or children who qualify for free tickets, they can click on the number of free tickets when purchasing tickets online, and pick up tickets at the "automatic ticket vending machine" at the gate of the zoo on the day of admission.

Kaohsiung Railway Station
Zhongshan 1st Road (next to Lane 325, Zhongshan 1st Road)
MRT Yanchengpu Station
Get out of MRT Yanchengpu Station from Exit 4. Turn right on Wufu 4th Road for about 10 m and take bus No. 56 in front of Hua Nan Bank to Shoushan Zoo.
LRT Wenwu Temple Station
Get off the LRT at Wenwu Temple Station. Follow Dagong Road and turn right on Gushan 1st Road for about 50m to take bus 56 at Taipower Station to Shoushan Zoo.
Departure time
Buses are available every 40 minutes on weekdays or every 20 minutes on holidays between 08:30 and 17:30. Also available is the holiday shuttle every 10-15 minutes on holidays from MRT Yanchengpu Station to Shoushan Zoo. Visitors are encouraged to exploit the transportation service. (Service not available on Mondays as the Zoo is closed.)
